What is Wisbo and how does it work?
Wisbo is a storytelling player that connects kids to Indian culture and values. Your child places a collectible character on top of Wisbo, and that character’s stories begin to play. Lift it to pause the story, turn the right knob to switch chapters, and the left knob to adjust the volume. No grown-up help needed.
What stories are available on Wisbo?
The Wisbo Launch bundle comes with two characters: Bal Krishna and Panchatantra. Coming soon: Kings of India, Festivals of India and Birbal’s Tales. All stories are in English, with a tinge of Hindi!
How many stories come with each character, and how long are they?
Every Wisbo character has 15 stories, each about 5 minutes long. That’s about 75 minutes per character, and 150 minutes in the launch bundle.
Is there a Wisbo app? Is it required?
Yes, the Wisbo app (iOS and Android) is needed to set up Wisbo for the first time. After that, you may use it for making any changes to Wisbo or your account settings.
Does Wisbo have a microphone?
No. Wisbo has no microphone.
Do Wisbo characters need batteries or charging?
No. Wisbo characters have no battery and never need charging.
What ages is Wisbo for?
Wisbo is for kids aged 3 and above.
Who creates Wisbo’s stories?
Every Wisbo story is lovingly written by our in-house team, inspired by Indian culture, stories and values. All stories are child-friendly and made to spark your child’s imagination.
Does Wisbo need Wi-Fi or the internet to play stories?
Only for setup and new content. Once downloaded, stories play offline, anytime. Wisbo is Wi-Fi-enabled to allow for new feature updates and unlocking new character content.
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
Wisbo gives up to 10 hours of playtime. Charge it with any USB-C phone charger and cable.
Can I add more characters to my Wisbo?
Yes! New characters are coming soon. Each one unlocks its own set of stories on your Wisbo.
